We set about to create a cup that we could carry with us all day, everyday, as easily as our phone, wallet or keys.

After realising just how much plastic we were throwing away every day our journey to find products that would help us be more sustainable began. We quickly got stuck at coffee cups. Living in a busy city like New York it was crazy to us how many coffee cups were disposed of every day! We tried to take our own thermos cups but quickly found that they were never on us when we needed them. We needed something that was easy to carry and would always be on us when we needed it. So we began work on the Hunu cup!

We launched to the public in one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns ever and the Hunu journey began! Since then we have sent Hunu cups to over 80 countries, gone viral multiple times on Instagram, and appeared on the Today Show, Vogue, Rolling Stone and many others. Since the start we have also supported the Sentinel Ocean Alliance in South Africa on their mission to keep the ocean cleaner while supporting local communities.

Hunu cups are used by coffee lover like us but they are also used by dog walkers, office workers, backpackers, hikers, campers, van lifers and people on the go all over the world.

Our mission to create the worlds most convenient and sustainable travel products is just getting started. Thank you for being here!!
